It’s a bird.. It’s a plane.. It’s the second largest opening in Warner Bros. history starring Batman and Superman all at once!
DC deciding to pair up with Warner Bros. to make a brand new film. Can you guess what happened? That’s right, they made a major blockbuster that will mark science fiction movies for years to come. Not only did the movie boost the DC Extended Universe but got the DC world out of the corner and back into the competition against Marvel. Bringing together two cinematic icons including the 1.6 billion dollar concept that is Superman against the Dark Knight himself, the whopping 2.8 billion dollar idea that is Batman as commented by Frank Pallotta; head of CNN Money. Critics have not been the best for this movie, getting a 28% score by Rotten Tomatoes. Although critics have not received the movie as expected, the movie has managed to make $420.1 million in its opening weekend. The movie has already broken records like the biggest opening of 2016, and the seventh largest domestic opening in the world. I am sure the movie will continue to make a great profit and hopefully start a new line of DC/ Warner Bros. films.
