One more victory for Venezuela! Every four years, the Summer Olympics are hosted in a different country. This year, the Summer Olympic Games will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. They start August 5 to 21, 2016 and then the Paralympics follow on September 7 to 18, 2016. This year, 56 Venezuelan athletes classified to the games in Rio. This is a great accomplishment for Venezuela because more than 50 talented and professional people will represent their country with pride and joy. The last person who entered the games was Jackson Vicent. According to http://www.el-nacional.com/deportes/Venezuela-clasificados-Juegos-Olimpicos-Rio_0_817118328.html, he got his pass to the games after wining the Preolympic final in Chile. This information was announced on Twitter by Mervin Maldonado, the sport minister in Venezuela. Good luck to all the Venezuelans and we hope you bring home many gold medals!
