The view from the top

In Venezuela we have some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The one who most people associate with this country is the Kerepakupai Vená. The waterfall has been known as the "Angel Falls" since the Mid-20th century; they are named after Jimmie Angel, a US aviator, who was the first person to fly over the falls. After Angel died he was burned and Angel's ashes were scattered over the falls on 2 July 1960. Since then the Angel Falls has been seen as the  world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres (3,212 ft) and a plunge of 807 meters (2,648 ft) according to  Encyclopædia Britannica. Appearing in world records such as https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/2015/preview/ it is good to know that we at Venezuela have one of the best view at the top.
