Nevado, a warm home that welcomes animals

The “Nevado Mission” is a project that works towards protecting stray animals. This project is located in Venezuela with the goal of saving and protecting as many stray animals as possible. All animals found are taken to their new home that is in San Francisco. The projects is called “Nevado” because it was the name of Simon Bolivar’s dog. People say that his dog was always next to him in battle, until one day he died in one of them. According to Havanatimes “Battles, wars, heroes with blood-dripping hands….even dogs are included in such reverential stories.” While seeing less animals in the stretch day the “Nevado Mission” will continue hopping for the best while helping animals in need.
