Ready…Set...Help!

As every year, on Saturday October 17, 2015, the National Honor Society members organized the Charity Run.
The National Honor Society members organized this event to help raise funds for the children with Huntington’s disease. According to MayoClinic, it is “An inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain”.
The tickets for this event were sold during Parent Teacher Conferences and during the event that took place in La Vereda del Lago at 7 am. During the charity event, the participants had the choice of running or walking. However, something very important was that the person could either run or walk, and could not do both.

Many people commented that the Charity Run was a complete blast and that they are really happy they could do something for a good cause, in this case the Huntington’s disease.
