A 2 Child per Couple Upgrade in China
Chinese one-child policy abolished in fear of graying of population.
The abolishment of “one child policy” in China was
officially confirmed. This was done in fear of a “graying society” says the
Washington Post. The population was mostly based of elderly people and that was
a little bit of a problem. This decision was made after a long meeting with the
Communist Party leadership were the discussion involved labor shortages and
rapid rising number of elders straining the future economy of the country. The Chinese
introduced the infamous rule in the 1980’s; it led to huge fines along with
forced sterilizations and abortions. China’s sex ratio changed massively as
people tended to abort girls making the ratio of women to men completely
unproportional. According to the Washington Post a student from The University
of California named Wang Feng warned the country that the “one-child policy
would cause a demographic precipice” questioning the legitimacy of the
Communist Party. Although it is final that couple’s in China will be allowed to
have two children it is unknown when the new policy will officially take
action. This can decrease the number of abortions and sterilizations of women
and can also level the population.
Bye, Bye Flags, Bye, Bye Wal-Mart
Mississippi man bombs local Wal-Mart because they won’t sell confederate flags.
According to The Washington Post a longtime fanatic of the Mississippi State flag threw an explosive into the local Wal-Mart on Sunday morning because they refused to sell the confederate battle flag. He is named Marshall. E. Leonard, is 61 years old and comes from Tupelo, Mississippi. He was arrested and was charged on Tuesday for his crimes of “detonating on explosive” inside said store. Aguirre told the press “He’s a strong supporter of keeping that flag flying”. In a way the man wants to keep history alive and detonating Wal-Mart was his way of doing that. This flag is to support racist groups and it was to be taken out of display for those specific reasons. The Washington Post says this was due to the shooting in a black church in Charleston. This became a controversial topic as the alleged shooter was posing with the flag in a photo. The question is was it really necessary to blow the place up “to keep a flag flying”?

Angry business
Angry birds is an amazingly addictive game. It is one of those games that you have to have downloaded. However, behind the scenes things aren't going so well. There has been recent job cuts and so far 216 people have been affected. It is estimated that 260 more will be affected. Every single department has sadly lost a member, except for the exception of those working on the angry birds movie. So, Rovio has seen better times.
