The New Epidemic Declared a World Emergency

Zica the new epidemic had been declared a world emergency.
The Zica mosquito is a new epidemic that is causing babies to be born with undeveloped brains among other things, according to BBC News “Some areas have declared a state of emergency, doctors have described it as "a pandemic in progress" and some are even advising women in affected countries to delay getting pregnant.” The symptoms of a Zica mosquito bite are mild fever, headache, a rash, conjunctivitis and joint pain. Only one in five people develop these symptoms. BBC News also says that, “Guillain-Barre syndrome, a nervous system disorder has been linked to the Zica outbreak.” One of the biggest concerns of people from this outbreak is baby's developing microcephaly, the symptom of this disease is below average head size often caused by failure if the brain and about 25,000 children are affected by this disease yearly in the United States. Zica has proven to be a dangerous disease especially for newborns and we hope that the tension brought by this epidemic wears down.
